i love

hello. I'm jahcarrdi.

welcome

I love a project, and love to watch things grow from ideation to execution.

I have nearly a decade of experience in process improvement and business strategy - optimizing operations and driving growth through innovative solutions.

I love storytelling & how it can guide a project by keeping it relevant and engaging. When I'm not working, I read a lot, film and edit videos, and travel with my favorite people.

After the loss of his wife - also known as the 'color' in his very grey world, Ove is ready to end. It. All.

Until a young family moves in with their small children and show him just how colorful the world can still be. Featuring themes of love, grief, and second chances, A Man Called Ove shows how beautiful a new version of your life can be no matter when it begins.

I hadn't read Peter Pan as a child, but gave it a try as an adult and luckily so - it ended up being my favorite story.
As you probably know, Peter Pan is the story of a boy who wouldn't grow up and the adventure Wendy and her siblings take to Neverland to help Peter and The Lost Boys defeat Captain Hook.

I'm an aerialist, so anytime I see a book with aerialists or a circus theme, I'm into it. This one happened to be a fantasy and that will always pull me in.

This historical fantasy novel is based around the Cabot family between the 1920s and the mid-2000s. It centers around a secret circus that only shows itself to those with an invitation and a mysterious goat-eyed antagonist.

I understand that this might not actually be the best book in the last several years - I really do. I just won't stop trying to convince you that it is.
Ordinary Monsters is a BEAR of a book that feels like an x-men origin story with charming characters and a school for kids with talents. It's the first in the Talents trilogy with the second "Bringer of Dust" being released in 2024. If you ever want to start a conversation with me, this is a guaranteed way to do it.

I'm actually not ordinarily a romance reader, but my best friend and I host a book club and this was the pick of the month. I absolutely fell in love and it's a reminder to branch out and try new things.
Before I Let Go is a second chance love story featuring formerly married couple, Yasmen and Josiah. We get to take a journey of what brought them together, what tore them apart, and what could bring them back together again.
